Student Services - Special Education

The district offers a full range of special education programs for students who have handicapping conditions. Resource rooms, tutoring and full inclusion options throughout the district serve those who are developmentally handicapped, learning disabled, behaviorally handicapped, multiple handicapped, orthopedically handicapped, or hearing impaired.

Three school psychologists and excellent relationships with area social service agencies assure that students receive the services they need.

Students with Disabilities Served:

Continuum of Special Education Services:

  • The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires states to establish procedures to assure students with disabilities are educated with children who are not disabled.
