Ohio Graduation Tests

Title I Federal Grant Programs

Public School Choice (PSC)

Due to being in School Improvement Status, Jacobs and Washington School students are eligible for Public School Choice and can transfer to another Findlay City School not in School Improvement, or remain in their current school. Schools not in school improvement are Chamberlin Hill, Jefferson, Lincoln, Wilson Vance or Whittier.  Transportation will be provided. There were 492 students eligible.  No one took advantage of this program.

Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

Supplemental Educational Services (SES), a free tutoring program, is available to students who are qualified. Tutoring will take place in an elementary building.

202 students are eligible for SES at Jacobs School.  274 are eligible at Washington School.  During the 2007-2008 school year, 1 student from Washington Elementary participated in this program.
