Keeping track of the people we contact the most is easy in Outlook Live. Locate the Contacts button on the bottom left of our default screen and click to open. Once opened, we see several links on the left navigation pane including: SHOW: All, People, Groups. Under that section, we find My Contacts, divided into Suggested Contacts and Contacts. In the middle pane we find all the Contacts we have either created in Outlook Live, or imported from another mail program. On the right, is the Reading Pane which shows all the detail regarding the selected Contact.

Creating Contacts

Click the NEW button above the Contacts List and you can choose from a New Contact, Group, or Message. In the Contact box that opens, you can choose to include as much or as little information as you'd like for that specific contact. Right-clicking any Contact gives a menu for additional options for that entry.

Contacts can also be Imported from your other Mail programs. The first thing we need to do, is to Export the address book or contacts from another mail program as a .csv file. Save that file to a location that will be easy to find. Then go back to Outlook Live, select the Contacts button. On the top menu bar, select Import. Then, select the Browse button to navigate to the file you would like to import into Outlook Live Contacts.
